Iron Man 3	Denotations- I can see a man wearing rings and armour. Connotations- He is wearing armour which means he needs to protect himself from something dangerous.	Denotations- A big bomb occurred making the lighting a red/orange colour.  Connotations-There could be danger around the area where the bomb exploded.	Denotations- I can see him flying and fighting. Connotations-   This shows him being strong and being able to be a hero.	Denotations- I can see a normal town, but when Iron Man comes, there is a different setting. Connotations- This shows he is the main character as the setting changes when he arrives.
RDR2	Denotations- I can see that the costume is inspired by the early 20's kind of clothing. The characters have realistic faces seen as their makeup.   Connotations- Their realistic faces must mean that the creator has tried to make them look like humans so they can also act like humans.	Denotations- The lighting in the trailer mimics natural sunlight: harsh mid-day sun, soft golden-hour light, and diffused overcast skies.  Connotations-  Nostalgia.	Denotations- Characters are often shown in tight group formations, riding on horseback or walking side by side. Connotations- The characters are cowboys and are very old style for riding a horse.	Denotations-  Forests – Dense trees, dappled sunlight, wildlife. Mountains – Snow-covered peaks, rocky slopes, high-altitude terrain. Rivers & lakes – Water bodies with canoes, fishing scenes, reflections. Connotations-  Freedom, vastness, untamed nature.
Stranger Things	Denotations- Pink dress — A light, feminine piece of clothing. Shaved head — A short, buzzed hairstyle. Connotations- Display of immense power and danger (flipping a van telekinetically).	Denotations: Dark, suspenseful, mysterious Connotations: danger, an evil scheme.	Denotations: Fast pedalling on bikes Connotations: trying to escape from danger.	Denotations: Bicycles. Connotations: Young children and normal children activities.
Nike	Denotations: White men in rowing uniforms. Connotations: Only a particular part of society participates in such a sport.	Denotations: Cloudy in England. Connotations: That rowing is an English sport.	Denotations: Fast motion of rowing oars. Connotations: The continuous attempts to impress their family's.	Denotations: A boat with the adolescents fathers with British flag. Connotations: The sport is only to impress the elders in their lives, particularly the males.

Stranger things paragraph:

At the beginning of the clip, the first character that makes an appearance on the screen is wearing a white laboratory coat. This suggests in a sly manner that the genre of this series could be sci-fi. The lab coat connotes research of some type and science. The initial setting connotes a sense of danger and mystery. Its a dark and unknown place which creates tension and eagerness for the viewers watching.
