Media Language
1. The cover lines are written to make the audience want to buy the magazine by using contrasting colours and using images of the celebrity they are speaking about.
2. The connotations of the Heat colour scheme on that particular front cover are them using the colour pink a lot to attract females, and white makes it seem like the magazine isn't guilty but the celebrities are.
3. The images are used to create interest by them being taken by paparazzi and the celebrities being unaware and looking like normal people.
4. The differences with the use of design and typography between Tatler and Heat are that Heat is a lot more crowded and busy with many different stories and images, while on the other hand, Tatler is shown to be basic and focused on one thing. Heat uses more bright and vibrant colours while Tatler is elegant with calm colours such as white. Heat is about celebrity gossip and Tatler is about fashion.
