Connotations- He is wearing armour which means he needs to protect himself from something dangerous.  Denotations- A big bomb occurred making the lighting a red/orange colour.  Connotations- There could be danger around the area where the bomb exploded. Denotations- I can see him flying and fighting. Connotations-   This shows him being strong and being able to be a hero. Denotations- I can see a normal town, but when Iron Man comes, there is a different setting.
