   Title of Clip Costume & Make-Up Lighting & Colour Actor Movement/Placement Setting & Props Iron Man 3 Denotations- I can see a man wearing rings and armour. Connotations- He is wearing armour which means he needs to protect himself from something dangerous.  Denotations- A big bomb occurred making the lighting a red/orange colour.  Connotations- There could be danger around the area where the bomb exploded. Denotations- I can see him flying and fighting. Connotations-   This shows him being strong and being able to be a hero. Denotations- I can see a normal town, but when Iron Man comes, there is a different setting. Camera movement and editing

Three aspects of camera movement 1. Tilt - The camera tilted downwards from the screen to the person, focusing on a different subject. This can make a person look weak or powerful using a tilt, (high/ low angle). 2. Handheld - The camera shows that it is held by someone's hand and is often shaky. Handheld camera can add urgency, realisation, pace or unease to a scene. 3. Crane shot - Camera attached to crane pan, track or 'swoop' in or out as required. Crane shots are often high angle and show large epic scenes or dramatic action. Two aspects of editing 1. Cut - When a camera shows a scene and automatically changes from one to another. 2. Fade - Shot fades away and another shot appears. Fades to black of signify endings. Two shots/camera angles 1. Close up 2. Over the shoulder

First Ten Questions 1) Which part of Media are you looking forward to the most? I'm looking forward to creating a video such as an ad or a music video for example. 2) What knowledge and skills do you hope to learn in Media? I hope to learn how the media in general works. 3) What grade are you realistically hoping to achieve in Media? I want to achieve at least a grade 6 or above. 4) What device do you use most to access the media? (The media = news, TV, music, film, social media etc.)  I mostly use my iPhone to listen to music or watch videos. 5) What is your average 'screen time' (or equivalent) on your phone each day. Is this about right, too little or too much? Why?  My average screen time on a school day is about 4 hours.
