First 10 Questions

 1) Which part of Media are you looking forward to the most?

I'm looking forward to creating a video such as an ad or a music video for example.

2) What knowledge and skills do you hope to learn in Media?

I hope to learn how the media in general works.

3) What grade are you realistically hoping to achieve in Media?

I want to achieve at least a grade 6 or above.

4) What device do you use most to access the media? (The media = news, TV, music, film, social media etc.) 

I mostly use my iPhone to listen to music or watch videos.

5) What is your average 'screen time' (or equivalent) on your phone each day. Is this about right, too little or too much? Why? 

My average screen time on a school day is about 4 hours. I think it is too much because most of that time is spent on my phone and not spent on doing other things like revising or doing any hobbies.

6) What was the last TV programme or film you watched?

The Summer I Turned Pretty

7) What device or subscription do you use to listen to music?

I listen to music on my iPhone using the app called Spotify.

8) Do you play videogames? If so, what do you play games on and what is your favourite game?

No but I rarely play a videogame called Roblox.

9) Are you on social media? If so, what social media do you have and why do you like it? 

Yes. I use apps called TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Netflix and WhatsApp. I like them because they give me access into communicating with people , seeing what people post online as well as watching TV shows.

10) Finally, do you think the media is a positive or negative thing for young people? Why?

I think it's a positive and a negative as the positive is young people find it entertaining and go on devices when their bored. I also think it's a negative as well as some young people can get too addicted and don't become social with the  people around them. Also, there could be inappropriate sources.
